Overview
Qualified as a legal practitioner by the Ministry for Justice Baden-Württemberg in Germany, Stefan worked as in-house counsel for a national peak body, the German Council of Trade Unions until he migrated to Australia in 2003.
He obtained his Australian legal qualification while working as in-house counsel for a major trade union in Sydney and was admitted as a solicitor in 2010.
Prior to being called to the Bar in 2017, Stefan worked as a solicitor in private practice in Newcastle. Stefan is based in Newcastle where he lives with his family, but also practices from Denman Chambers.
