Daniel graduated from UTS with an LL.B (Hons) in 1997 and from Griffith University with a B.Com in 1989. Prior to commencing practising in the law, Daniel was an employed official with the Electrical Trades Union of Australia (NSW Branch) for one year and then with the Communications, Electrical and Plumbing Union (Electrical Division, National Office) for nine years.
In 2001 Daniel began practice as a solicitor for Turner Freeman Lawyers, working in the area of Industrial/Employment, Commercial and Sports Law. In 2005 Daniel was accredited as a specialist in the area of Industrial and Employment Law by the Law Society of New South Wales, one of only approximately 35 in New South Wales at the time.
Daniel was called to the Bar in 2009. Daniel has more than 20 years experience in appearing before various State and federal industrial tribunals and courts in his role as a union official, solicitor and barrister as well as providing advice to employees, trade unions and employers.
Daniel is also experienced in advising individuals and corporations in relation to commercial, equity and sports law matters
