More informationKellie Edwards was an Associate at Dibbs Barker Gosling (now Dibbs Barker) specializing in employment and discrimination law from 2001 until 2005. Kellie was also a member of the NSW Administrative Decisions Tribunal sitting in the Equal Opportunity Division from 1997 until 2003. Since being called to the bar, Kellie has continued her work in the various employment and discrimination jurisdictions, as well as running trade practices and common law cases. In addition, kellie has delivered a number of CPD seminars including: “The Changing Landscape of Employment Law” “Update on Discrimination Law”; “Negotiating Compliance with Occupational Health and Safety Legislation in the Context of Disability Discrimination Legislation” (with Ms. Kylie Nomchong); “Dealing with Problematic employees: the Importance of a good Complaints Handling Procedure”; and the “$37 million Question: Harassment and Discrimination in New South Wales”. She also writes for the National Workplace Relations loose-leaf service published by Thomson Legal publishers. Prior to becoming a lawyer, Kellie worked in both private enterprise and government, including the Office of Youth Affairs, the NSW Department of Industrial Relations and the NSW Board of Vocational Education and Training. She also lectured in social and political theory in the Humanities Faculty of the University of Technology, Sydney, and ran her own consulting company.
