Bruce Hodgkinson SC is head of chambers. Bruce specialises in occupational health and safety, industrial/employment, contract and trade practices and sports law. In particular, he has been involved in occupational health and safety prosecutions in NSW since the early 1990s. Bruce appears regularly in the State and Federal Courts as well as the State and Federal Industrial Relations Commissions, before the Coroners Court, Administrative Tribunals and Royal Commissions including the Cole Royal Commission into the Building Industry.

Bruce has represented and advised Government (Federal, State and Local), corporations, employers, individuals and associations.

Bruce appears as counsel assisting the NSW Rugby Judiciary and in 2005 he was appointed Chairman of the Australian Rugby Union and Players Association Occupational Health and Safety Committee.

Bruce is also admitted to practice as a barrister in the High Court of Australia, Queensland, the ACT, Tasmania and the Northern Territory.

Bruce was elected Chair of the NSW Cancer Council in November 2007.
